House Registration Book (Tabien Baan) in Thailand
A foreigner needs an address in Thailand whether he wants to form a company or apply for his Thai tax ID card. We’ve been asked a lot about the Tabien Baan, which is one of the application’s needed documents.
Tabien Baan is a house registration book that contains the house number as well as a list of all inhabitants who live there. It is proof of a person’s official abode, but it is not proof of the house’s ownership.
Thailand Residence Permit
Foreign people can stay in Thailand for as long as they desire with a Thailand residence permit, also known as Thai permanent residency or Thai PR. Thai PR applications must be submitted to the Immigration Office in Bangkok, or to the local or nearest Immigration Office or Checkpoint for residents of other provinces.
